We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, fulfil orders, manage customer and partner accounts, respond to enquiries and meet legal obligations. The legal basis depends on the purpose and may include performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure and efficient operation, and consent where required.
3. Server logs and technical operation
When you access the website, technical information may be processed automatically, including IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser, operating system and referrer. This data is used to deliver the website, detect misuse and maintain security and stability. Log data is retained only for as long as required for these purposes, unless a longer retention period is necessary for security incidents or legal obligations.

5. Customer accounts and orders
If you create an account or place an order, we process the information required to manage your account and fulfil the contract. Order and invoice data is retained in accordance with applicable commercial and tax retention obligations.
6. Payments
Depending on the payment method selected, payment-related data is transmitted to the relevant payment service provider. Payment providers process data under their own privacy terms. The shop may use services such as PayPal or WooPayments where configured. We do not receive complete card details where payment processing is handled directly by the payment provider.
7. Shipping and fulfilment
Where necessary to fulfil an order, we transmit required delivery information to shipping and fulfilment service providers. If services such as Packlink are used, the information needed to create and manage shipments may be processed through that service.
8. Dealer applications
When you apply for an ANIMUR dealer account, we process the information you submit for the purpose of checking and administering the application. This includes in particular contact details, company name, business address, telephone number, optional VAT ID and website, as well as the uploaded proof of business registration or equivalent documentation.
The business document is stored separately from the public media library and is accessible only to authorised administrators through the protected application workflow. Where supported by the server environment, the file is stored encrypted. The application remains inactive until it has been reviewed and approved. We use the information solely to assess eligibility for dealer access, document the decision and administer an approved dealer relationship.
If an application is rejected, the application data and document are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to document the decision, handle queries and defend or establish legal claims, unless longer retention is required by law. Data relating to approved dealers is retained for the duration of the business relationship and any applicable statutory retention periods.
9. Affiliate applications and partner programme
When you apply to the ANIMUR affiliate programme, we process the contact and profile information you provide, including optional website, social-media or payout information. After approval, we may process referral identifiers, customer assignments, qualifying orders, commission amounts, payout status and related correspondence to operate and document the partner programme.
10. Referral links and QR codes
Partner links may contain a referral identifier. Where a visitor follows such a link, the identifier may be stored temporarily in order to attribute a qualifying purchase to a partner. Depending on the programme rules, a customer assignment may also be stored in connection with the customer account or normalised billing email for future qualifying purchases.
11. Emails
We send transactional emails such as order confirmations, password-reset emails, partner-application confirmations and approval or rejection notices. If newsletter or marketing emails are offered, they are sent only on the applicable legal basis and, where required, with consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
12. External services and marketing integrations
The website may use or connect to services for shop operation, product listings, advertising, social-media marketing or email delivery, including WooCommerce extensions and services from providers such as Google, Meta-independent social platforms, Reddit, Snapchat or MailPoet where configured. Such services may process technical or account-related data according to their own privacy terms. Tracking or advertising functions requiring consent are used only where the required consent mechanism is active.
13. Recipients and processors
Personal data may be shared with service providers only where this is necessary for hosting, technical operation, payment processing, shipping, email delivery, accounting, legal compliance or other services required to operate the shop. Service providers acting on our behalf are used under the applicable data-protection requirements.
